Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area CRE Railway Breaks 4,000 Trains Milestone

On January 18, the X8120 train, loaded with home appliances, daily necessities and other goods, departed from Guangzhouguojigang Railway Station, and is expected to reach Europe in 15 days. With this departure, the cumulative number of CRE trains from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area has surpassed 4,000.
As a global manufacturing hub, Guangdong is often referred to as the "world's factory," and foreign trade demand has been consistently increasing in recent years. The CRE train has become a crucial international logistics channel for ensuring the export of "Made in Guangdong" products, with its green, efficient and stable advantages.
CR-Guangzhou focuses on supporting high-quality development in the Belt and Road Initiative by building efficient transport systems, diverse routes, innovative development frameworks and safety assurance systems for the CRE train. These efforts continue to improve the quality and efficiency of railway operations, helping export Chinese products such as electronics, smart home appliances and new energy vehicles to Europe faster, with better quality and at more competitive prices.
