Wuhan Launches First Full-Schedule CRE Train on Chinese Lunar New Year's Day

     On January 29, the first day of the lunar New Year, with the sound of a bagpipe, CRE train X8017, carrying 55 containers of goods, departed from Wujiashan Railway Station, CR-Wuhan. The train, which passed through Alataw Pass and headed for Duisburg, Germany, marked the first full-schedule CRE train launched by Wuhan in the lunar New Year.

  With China's economy continuing to show steady improvement and the thriving trade between China and Europe, the frequency of CRE trains (Wuhan) has been steadily increasing, now running seven times a week. The number of routes has also expanded, with 57 stable cross-border transport lines in operation, and the range of products transported has grown to include hundreds of different items. In the past year, the CRE train (Wuhan) has operated a total of 730 trains, maintaining a high level of freight traffic.
