Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway Cumulative Passenger Volume Exceeds 8 Million

Since its opening on October 2023 until February 17, 2025, the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway has sent a total of 8.011 million passengers, with an average occupancy rate of 60.73%. The highest single-day passenger volume reached 24,400.

　　Starting from February 1, the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway increased its daily operations from 48 trains to 62, reducing the departure interval to every 30 minutes.

　　The Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway, a project jointly built by China and Indonesia, stretches 142.3 kilometers with a maximum operating speed of 350 km/h. It shortens the travel time between Jakarta and Bandung from over three hours to just 46 minutes.
